I can't believe that it's time for our mission trip. I am very excited about it though. Giving teens an opportunity to serve God is much needed. Below I have answered a few questions that are often asked prior to trips. If you have any more questions please do not hesitate to ask.
How much money will they need?
Well, that depends on how much they like to eat. Just kidding, we will be eating out 3 times and also going to a water-park. Admission to the park is around 30.00 dollars.
I would guess 50-60 dollars would be enough. There are no other charges for the trip.
If this creates a hardship, let me know and we will work something out.
When are they leaving, returning?
We will leave New Hope at 7am on Sunday morning, June 13th. We will be returning sometime between 1-4pm on Friday June 18th.
What do they need to bring?
1. Bible, notebook
2. Clothes for a week. [shoot for modesty]
3. 12 pack of water
4. Sunscreen-
5. Fishing pole, if they like to fish.
6. Positive Christ centered attitude
7. Deodorant, toothpaste, shampoo etc.
8. TOWELS
Things to leave at home
1. Ipods [so we can actuallu hang out together]
2. Cell phones [OK, so you can bring these, but time on them will be severely limited]
3. Short shorts, any revealing clothes
4. Guns, knives, tobacco, etc. [also no dynamite]
5. IT’s all about me attitude, laziness.
I heard there’s a pool and you’re going to a waterpark.... what should they wear?
Guys.... swimming trunks [t-shirts at waterpark]
Gals .... 1 Piece bathing suit and shorts [non-white T-shirts at waterpark]
