Col. 3:20 Children, obey your parents in everything, for this pleases the Lord.
Maybe you have thought about the fact that doing what your parents say is actually honoring God. Maybe you have just looked at obeying them as a necessary evil, something you know you should do but rarely do it with the right attitude. But have you ever thought about obeying your parents as worshipping God? Ephesians 5:10 instructs us to 'find out what pleases the Lord' then we should do it. Doing something to please God is a lifestyle worship.... we need to start thinking outside of the box and inside of the BOOK! How's your worship today?
good word! this means that children can obey their parents 'with great joy and delight'. When is the last time your parents instructed you to do something and you responded with delight and joy knowing you are obeying God in obeying your parents!
